Submission Policy
Submission Policy for UJLBM
TMP Universal Journal of Law, Business, and Management (UJLBM) aims to provide a rigorous and transparent platform for researchers and practitioners in the fields of law, business, and management. The following Submission Policy outlines the requirements and guidelines for submitting articles to the journal.
- Scope of Submissions
UJLBM welcomes original research articles, review articles, case studies, theoretical papers, and other scholarly works that address topics within the fields of law, business, and management. Submissions should contribute to the advancement of knowledge and understanding within these disciplines.
- Topics of Interest: The journal accepts manuscripts on, but not limited to, the following topics:
- Corporate Law
- International Business
- Marketing and Advertising
- Finance and Investment
- Human Resource Management
- Business Ethics
- Entrepreneurship
- Intellectual Property Law
- Contract Law
- Business Strategy
- Management Theories
- Organizational Behavior
- Submission Requirements
- Language: All submissions must be in English.
- File Format: Manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) format. Figures and tables should be included within the document or submitted as separate files if necessary.
- Word Limit: The article should not exceed 8,000 words, including references, tables, and figures. Case studies and review articles may have different word limits based on content.
- Originality: Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration for publication elsewhere. All articles should include a plagiarism report (less than 15% similarity) from a reputable plagiarism-checking software like Turnitin or iThenticate.
- Submission Process
- Online Submission: Manuscripts must be submitted through the UJLBM Online Submission System. Authors must create an account and upload their manuscript along with any supplementary materials (e.g., figures, tables, appendices).
- Cover Letter: A cover letter must accompany each submission. The cover letter should include:
- Title of the manuscript
- A brief summary of the research
- A statement confirming that the manuscript is original and has not been published or submitted elsewhere
- Any conflicts of interest or financial disclosures
- Conflict of Interest: Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest at the time of submission. This includes any financial, personal, or professional relationships that might influence the research or manuscript.
- Manuscript Evaluation
Upon submission, manuscripts undergo an initial screening by the Editorial Team to ensure they meet the journal’s scope and submission guidelines. The manuscript is then sent for peer review.
- Peer Review: UJLBM follows a double-blind peer review process. Both the identity of the authors and reviewers are concealed during the review process to ensure unbiased and objective evaluations.
- Acceptance or Rejection: After the peer review, the manuscript is either accepted, requested for revision, or rejected. Authors will be notified of the decision within 4-6 weeks from submission.
- Ethical Considerations
- Plagiarism: Submissions found to contain plagiarism, including self-plagiarism, will be rejected immediately. Manuscripts should be original and should properly cite all sources.
- Ethics Approval: For research involving human subjects or animals, authors must provide evidence of ethical approval from an institutional review board (IRB) or ethics committee. Authors should ensure that they have followed all applicable ethical guidelines.
- Authorship: Authors must ensure that all individuals listed as authors have made significant contributions to the research. The Authorship and Contributorship Policy should be adhered to.
- Copyright and Licensing
By submitting a manuscript to UJLBM, authors agree to transfer copyright to the journal upon acceptance. All articles published in the journal are open access under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license, allowing authors to retain the right to reuse and share their work with proper attribution.
- Journal Publishing Agreement: Authors will be asked to sign a Journal Publishing Agreement upon acceptance of the manuscript, confirming the transfer of copyright to UJLBM.
- Revision Policy
Authors may be asked to revise their manuscripts based on feedback from reviewers. Revised manuscripts should be submitted along with a point-by-point response to the reviewer comments.
- Revisions: Authors are expected to address reviewer comments thoroughly. Revised manuscripts must be submitted within 4 weeks of receiving the review feedback. Failure to do so may result in the article being rejected.
- Fees and Charges
UJLBM does not charge any Article Processing Charges (APC) for the submission or publication of articles. Authors are not required to pay any fees for their articles to be published in the journal.
