Revenue Source Policy for UJLBM
TMP Universal Journal of Law, Business, and Management (UJLBM) operates with full transparency in managing the financial aspects of the publication process. This Revenue Source Policy outlines the various sources of revenue that support the journal’s operations, ensuring the sustainability and continuation of the journal's high-quality publishing services.
- Article Processing Charges (APC)
Currently, UJLBM does not charge any Article Processing Charges (APC) for manuscript submission, peer review, or publication. All articles are published without any fees for authors, in line with the journal's commitment to open access and accessible scholarly communication.
Note: In the future, should the journal decide to introduce APCs or any other fees, the revenue generated will be utilized solely for the following purposes:
- Covering the costs of peer review and editorial services.
- Supporting the journal’s administrative operations.
- Ensuring the technical maintenance and development of the online platform.
- Sponsorship and Grants
UJLBM may seek external funding through sponsorships and grants to further support the publication process, enhance the quality of the journal, and foster academic research in the fields of law, business, and management.
- Sponsorships: The journal may collaborate with institutions, corporations, or other organizations to secure funding for special issues or thematic topics. Sponsors will have no influence over editorial decisions, and the integrity of the peer review process will remain independent.
- Grants: The journal may apply for research grants from academic and government institutions to fund publishing costs and improve journal operations.
- Advertising Revenue
UJLBM may accept advertisements from relevant organizations and institutions in the fields of law, business, and management. The journal will ensure that all advertisements are appropriate and do not conflict with the academic integrity of the publication.
- Advertisements will be clearly labeled and separated from editorial content.
- Advertisements will be accepted based on relevance to the journal’s audience, and no external advertiser will have influence over the content of the journal.
- Institutional Subscriptions
While UJLBM is committed to open access, the journal may seek institutional subscriptions or partnerships with libraries and universities. These subscriptions will help maintain the sustainability of the journal and ensure that articles are freely accessible to researchers and practitioners worldwide.
- Institutional subscribers may receive additional benefits, such as access to archived issues or print copies of special issues (if applicable).
- Donations and Philanthropy
The journal may also accept donations from individuals, foundations, and academic organizations that support the advancement of research and knowledge in the law, business, and management fields. Donations will be used solely to support the journal's operations and initiatives, including but not limited to:
- Publication of high-quality research.
- Providing training and support for authors, reviewers, and editors.
- Promoting the journal and its contents to a wider audience.
- Other Revenue Sources
Should new revenue sources emerge in the future, such as partnerships, licensing, or other initiatives, UJLBM will ensure that all revenue is used ethically and responsibly to support the journal’s mission of promoting high-quality research in law, business, and management.
Any changes to the revenue sources will be communicated to authors, readers, and other stakeholders in a transparent and timely manner.
- Ethical Use of Revenue
All revenue generated by UJLBM will be used in accordance with the journal’s commitment to academic integrity, transparency, and ethical publishing practices. The revenue will be allocated to support the following areas:
- Maintaining the quality of the peer review and editorial process.
- Ensuring the open access nature of the journal.
- Supporting the technical infrastructure for online access and publication.
- Ensuring that all editorial and publishing decisions are made independently of any financial or commercial interests.
This Revenue Source Policy will be updated if there are any changes to the sources of revenue or the financial model of the journal.
