Refund Policy
Refund Policy for UJLBM
At TMP Universal Journal of Law, Business, and Management (UJLBM), we strive to provide excellent service and maintain a high level of transparency. The following Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be issued in relation to manuscript submission, processing, and publication fees.
- Article Processing Charges (APC) Refunds
UJLBM does not charge any Article Processing Charges (APC) for submission or publication of articles. Therefore, there are no fees paid by authors that would require a refund.
If any such charges are introduced in the future, the refund policy will be updated accordingly, and authors will be notified in advance.
- Refunds for Article Withdrawal
Once an article has been accepted for publication, the author is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the work. If an author wishes to withdraw their article after acceptance but before publication, the following conditions apply:
- Before Peer Review: If an author wishes to withdraw the manuscript before it has been sent for peer review, there will be no charge, and no fees will be applicable. If any fees have been mistakenly paid at this stage, a full refund will be provided.
- After Peer Review or Acceptance: If the manuscript has undergone peer review or has been accepted for publication, no refund will be provided. The journal invests time and resources in the review and editing process, and thus no refunds will be granted after these stages.
- Refunds for Payment Errors
In the rare event of a technical issue or payment error, resulting in a duplicate or incorrect payment, the journal will review the situation and issue a refund if applicable. Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of the payment being processed.
Refunds will only be processed for duplicate payments or payments made in error. Requests for refunds due to dissatisfaction with the publication process or content will not be entertained.
- Special Circumstances
In exceptional cases, such as errors attributable to the journal (e.g., failure to process an accepted article for publication or issues with the publication platform), authors may request a refund for fees paid for processing, if applicable.
Each case will be reviewed on an individual basis, and refunds may be issued based on the nature of the error and its impact on the publication.
- How to Request a Refund
Refund requests should be submitted by email to the editorial office at editorujlbm@gmail.com. The request should include the following details:
- Author(s) name(s)
- Title of the manuscript
- Date of submission or payment
- Details of the payment issue or reason for refund request
- Relevant supporting documentation (if applicable)
Refund requests will be processed within 15-30 business days after receipt and review of the request.
This Refund Policy is subject to change and will be updated if any charges, fees, or terms are introduced in the future. Authors will be notified of any such changes in advance.
