Deposit Policy
Deposit Policy for UJLBM
TMP Universal Journal of Law, Business, and Management (UJLBM) is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation and accessibility of the articles published in the journal. This Deposit Policy outlines the procedures for depositing published content in repositories and the protection of intellectual property.
- Archiving and Digital Preservation
- UJLBM ensures the long-term accessibility and preservation of articles by depositing published content in trusted digital repositories. The journal is committed to maintaining an open-access platform where all articles are freely available for readers, researchers, and institutions.
- Articles published in UJLBM will be archived in multiple digital repositories, including DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals), institutional repositories, and other academic indexing services, to ensure that the work remains accessible even in the case of system failure or data loss.
- Author and Publisher Responsibilities
- Publisher Responsibility: Upon acceptance and publication of the article, UJLBM will deposit the final, peer-reviewed version of the manuscript into appropriate repositories and ensure its availability for public access under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license.
- Author Responsibility: Authors are encouraged to deposit their published articles in personal or institutional repositories, following the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license. This allows others to freely access, share, and adapt the content while providing proper attribution to the authors and the source.
- Repository Selection
- UJLBM will deposit articles in trusted and reputable repositories that comply with open-access standards. These repositories will include:
- OpenDOAR (Directory of Open Access Repositories)
- PubMed Central (for biomedical content)
- arXiv (for preprints and early versions)
- Institutional and subject-specific repositories, where applicable.
- Articles will also be made available on UJLBM’s website and indexed by major academic search engines such as Google Scholar, Scopus, and Web of Science.
- Article Availability
- All articles will be available in a PDF format for easy access and use.
- In accordance with the open-access model, authors are permitted to share their articles freely with colleagues, students, and other researchers. Authors can upload their final article to personal or institutional websites, research-sharing platforms, or repositories, provided they include the necessary attribution.
- Policy on Preprints
- Authors are permitted to submit preprints of their articles to UJLBM. A preprint is a version of an article prior to peer review. If an article is accepted for publication, the final, peer-reviewed version will be deposited in the appropriate repository, with clear citation to the original preprint.
- Retention and Archiving of Published Content
- The final published version of the article, including all corrections, peer-reviewed revisions, and references, will be permanently available on UJLBM’s website and in all relevant digital archives.
- UJLBM will continue to ensure that published content is accessible through reliable digital archiving services, even after the journal ceases publication or changes format.
- Deposit and Licensing
- Authors grant UJLBM the right to deposit and distribute their articles under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license.
- Authors also agree that their work can be deposited in multiple repositories to promote wider accessibility and preserve the research for future use by the global academic community.
