Copyright Policy for UJLBM
The TMP Universal Journal of Law, Business, and Management (UJLBM) adheres to a strict copyright policy designed to protect the intellectual property rights of authors while promoting the open-access dissemination of scholarly work. This policy outlines the ownership, rights, and responsibilities associated with published articles.
- Copyright Ownership
- Author Retention of Copyright: Authors retain full copyright ownership of their work even after publication.
- Non-exclusive License to UJLBM: By submitting a manuscript, authors grant UJLBM a non-exclusive license to publish, distribute, and promote the article in digital and print formats, as well as in online repositories and indexing services.
- Open Access License
- All published articles in UJLBM are made available under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license. This allows others to use, share, and adapt the article for any purpose, including commercial uses, with proper attribution to the original authors.
- Author’s Rights
- Originality: Authors must ensure that their manuscript is their original work and does not infringe upon any third-party copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights.
- Reuse of Content: Authors retain the right to reuse their own published content in future works (e.g., books, presentations, or new research) with appropriate attribution to the original publication.
- Third-Party Content
- Authors must obtain permission from copyright holders for any third-party content (such as images, tables, figures, or excerpts) included in the article. The author is responsible for securing these permissions and for clearly citing the sources.
- Restrictions on Publication
- The author agrees not to publish the article elsewhere without obtaining prior written consent from UJLBM, unless substantial changes have been made to the manuscript.
- Plagiarism and Copyright Infringement
- UJLBM utilizes plagiarism detection tools (e.g., Turnitin, iThenticate) to check the originality of all submitted manuscripts. If plagiarism or copyright infringement is detected:
- The manuscript will be rejected, or the article will be retracted.
- Legal actions may be taken against the author if necessary.
- Author Responsibility
- The author is responsible for ensuring that their manuscript adheres to all ethical guidelines, including proper attribution of sources and avoidance of plagiarism.
- Authors must declare any potential conflicts of interest or financial support related to their research.
- Publication Ethics and Copyright Violations
- UJLBM takes any allegations of infringement, fraud, or ethical misconduct very seriously. If a potential issue arises, authors should contact Twisting Memoirs Publication's legal department through the designated journal contact. All cases will be investigated, and appropriate actions will be taken according to the journal’s ethical guidelines.
